I'm planning to do the secondary fermentation in my brewtech bucket and then transfer into a corny keg for conditioning and consumption.
In order to do the transfer I'll have to remove the bucket from my brewfridge which I presume will disturb the sediment / dead yeast and risk making a horrible haze in my pale ale - is there a better way to do this? A pressure transfer perhaps while the bucket stays in place?

I transfer from Sanke kegs and your right about disturbing sediment, as soon as it gets moved even slightly, sediment gets stirred up. I use a floating pickup, which could work for future brews, but not this one. It helps with closed transfers without picking up bottom gunk.

Here's a thread from another forum about this subject:

If you can manage a pressure transfer without moving the bucket, that would be ideal. I presume the bucket does not have enough altitude for a gravity transfer.

If that's not possible, then the only option I can see is to move the bucket very carefully.
