Hey gang.....anyone know of a brew store in Tallahassee? I need some new or recerted CO2 tanks and I live on St George Island......I need someplace in Tally if it exists. Sounds like the place that used to be there closed.

I will need to get the filled too.

Brew stores aren't going to be able to fill a CO2 tank completely. See if you have a welding gas store somewhere up there that has food grade CO2. The tank will be full, and it is cheaper.

I can exchange a 5lb tank at the welding store here for about $14. With all the industry they have in Panama City the last time I drove through there, I would be surprised if they didn't have one.

As noted, look for a gas supply store instead. I learned the harder way that owning your own tank has downsides, especially at recertification time:
Finding someone to recertify a tank is quite difficult in most places. The only way that worked for me was to turn in my like-new aluminum tank at the local gas supply store and get a slightly less perfect aluminum tank in return, which has a valid date stamp. They also charge a little bit less than the local Brew store, but I give them my business as I want to keep contributing to their success.

Looks like there is an Airgas store up there that should have the CO2. Thanks

Almost any welding gas supplier will have what you need - and all the ones I have used are familiar with homebrewers requirements! Alll the large ones (like AirGas) will be able to supply the bottle - they will charge for it the first time - but on refils you only pay for the gas!
