So I purchased a Brewzilla and want to give it a try.
However, all I have is a Brewer’s Best BeerKit I purchased.

1st question, do I want to use this type of beer kit in a Brewzilla or should I be finding a recipe and buying separately?

2nd question if I do use this kit it has liquid hops. Is that OK on the pump? Do I even need to use the grain basket?

Thanks in advance

You could just use the Brewzilla as a boil kettle and follow the instructions that came with the "beerkit".

Liquid hops are perfectly fine, but give it all a stir to make sure it doesn’t settle on the bottom.

If the kit uses grain, use the mash tube; if the malt extract is liquid or dry, then the basket is not needed. Stir that well, too.

I recommend a wet run with plain water to calibrate the temperature sensor. Mine was off by 9 degrees F, and now that it is calibrated it is spot on.

Good luck!

I have a Generation 3 and I had a few extract kits to brew after I bought it and I did it in my Generation 3 RoboBrew. If you are using malt extract, then do not use a false bottom. You will want to be able to stir the malt extract to make sure it dissolves and with the false bottom, the extract will seep through the holes and then scorch on the bottom.
