My friends who I actually got started home brewing and myself just sort of stopped brewing while we were building a 3-tier system about 20 years ago. I think kids, promotions, and life in general happened all at the same time. I recently sold my business to go back to school (middle-age...PERFECT time for a career change!) and talked to my buddy who owned a local brew-pub/pizzeria about working there while I was in school.

Of course, that sparked my interest in brewing, and the brew master was just too helpful. Another local brewery was having a wort party and I now have it bottled. I'm making a gluten free amber for my wife this week, and malted my own buckwheat to add to the sorghum syrup.

So it's been fun this past month. I'm looking forward to get back into brewing. Probably not to the extent we were headed 20 years ago, but if we decide to go that way, we have the frame, 3 converted kegs, and a lagering cooler ready!

welcome to the fold, great to have you back and always brew-on
