Well, we're 2 weeks into 2022 and I haven't seen a thread on resolutions and or goals for this year.
I have set some goals and am working towards them, how about you?
Mine are somewhat selfish, but here's a start.
Weight loss 25#
Body fat reduction 5%
Lasik eye surgery
New vehicle Truck.
Food goals at MBC.

So far, I'm off to a good start.
You?

working on the weight loss, it's not going as fast as last year, pandemic blues lol
downscaling my entertainment costs bigtime
designing a new shop/garage, waiting for prices to go down, in other words build it
designing a new brew shack, currently storage, move storage to garage
add a bigger pet fence

I decided to move to intermittent fasting to control my blood sugar. I eat a nice breakfast and a late lunch (very low carbs), then keep busy until bedtime (8:30). Drinking alcohol after lunch is fine.

Blood sugar is far better controlled (no medication yet) and as a bonus I am losing about a pound a week.

Is it a resolution? Not really, but quite literally my life is in the balance here. Quite the motivation.

I will be completing my 56th trip around the sun in March, and I want to get in better shape.
I want to lose 10 to 15 pounds.
I want to start riding my mountain bike again, which will aid my weight loss goal.
I want to start surfing again, like I used to in my 20’s.
I want to take a backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevada, either with my wife, or solo.
Finally, I want to brew more good beer this year.

I started that 3-4 years ago. Helped my blood sugar m Blood pressure, cholesterol and pretty much everything else. Dropped a quick 10 pounds and later another 5. I hover around that weight now. I eat until about 9-10 pm and hen not again until 3 the next day.
