    Carbonation drops

Another thing to consider is that Coopers make different sized drops for different markets. For example here in Australia our bottles traditionally come in 375ml and 750ml sizes ( thirteen Imperial Fluid Ounces and twenty six Imperial Fluid Ounces) so the Coopers drops are made to condition one...

    Bottling Conditioning after "lagering"

According to Chris White's "Yeast" book, beer can look perfectly clear to the human eye but can still contain x amount of yeast cells per millilitre where x is the population of Pakistan, or something like that (book is in my brewing area at the moment and I can't be bothered to go get it :lol...

    No Hops List

Thanks. Works fine and is easier than scrolling down a list because I guess hop names are pretty much carved in stone. So Saaz is always going to be Saaz but grains and yeasts lists are way more complex.

    No Hops List

Further to the above, I notice that there is a Browse Hops option in the top menu bar on the page that gives information about each hop, but in my case I'm not getting a drop down list within the recipe builder itself.

    No Hops List

    My first BIAB batch

If you are doing full volume BIAB (my mash is about 33 litres), another good bag protector is available at most kitchen shops and should only cost about ten dollars: Curved roasting rack, get a SS one if possible. I've been using mine for over six years. Add a length of twine to fish it out of...

    G'day from Australia

Big home brew scene in Australia, home of BIAB and no-chill. A fair few of us will likely migrate to Brewer's Friend as it's a brilliant system for designing recipes and being able to access them on any device without having to print out hard copies to take into the garage or give to friends. I...

    Importing BeerSmith recipes

This query is on behalf of a friend who has seen Brewer's Friend in action on my PC and tablet and, of course, is impressed ;) . Question is, does BeerSmith allow recipes to be exported to Brewer's Friend via Beer XML? I don't use BeerSmith myself, actually still own a copy but it was too...
