    Apart fro the King Keg I have what would be the best Barrel to finish my Brew in . The one I have just loses pressure immediately after one pint! I have leak tested the whole barrel with a special testing fluid and it still manages to leak co2 somehow.

    Has anyone been able to transfer co2 from aBrewers / pub cylinder to Keg cylinder so2 valve , ie Hambleton Bard or the like.and what adapters did they use , ie one high pressure pipe and a hose tail etc.

    I am currently looking into a fridge that will store my Rotokeg , any Ik suggestions , the keg has minimum 31cm x31cm width and depth. . So it’s internal dimensions that matter .

    Many thanks for your replies guys and girls? , siphoned of and in Keg with sugar now last litre in a half litre bottles. Film disappeared or not as visible , will post result.

    They have been immersed in boiling water before the bucket, as per instructions.

    Usual recipe and added hops , but a fine film appears on the surface , is this significant as it’s not happened before. Any help appreciated quickly , nearly time for the keg !

    Thank you for replying I will give the two bottles a week in warm temps to see what happens , perhaps I’ll post the end product with a pic for comparison.

    I’ve done two bottles as an experiment! Also the beer or pale ale as I would better describe it is less clear as I’ve seen . I finished bottling with the last pour off in a smaller bottle (330)with the same sugar as the 500ml and taste and liveliness quite different , this what me made me think...

Have realised I may not have put enough and didn’t use the advice which was 2 lumps to a 500ml bottle and I gave only put in one. The lumps have been in with the beer 2wks now , at 20/21c .
