Looks good.Why not just use fuggles at start of boil with no more additions or perhaps one more at 10 minutes!. English mild's are thin on the hop front. Just a thought!:)

Well,last night i allowed myself a 25cl bottle of my 'hunter foundation' pale ale brewed from the diy dog recipie pages:cool:. First beer i have had since before xmas due to having a variety of tablets to take. Still on some medication so must limit the booze intake:mad:

I dunk sparge and squeeze the life out of the bag:):)

I did similar some time back. Did a stout with an expected abv of 8.5%,then added some more malt and re mashed.The second brew came out rather uninspiring!

I did an all challenger small batch a while back which was very good

Just waiting for mine to be delivered:)

You are almost right.The war years saw brewers forced to use various adjuncts supposedly to cut back on the amount of grain used as it could most probably be used elswhere.
