For me recently it's been a bottling tree, washer and a sodium percarbonate no rinse. I love BIAB, doing it maxi style in a 19L stockpot. Not sure which will be my next investement, converted tea urn BIAB , cornies or Fermentasaurus but brew fridge is deffo on the list too

Bottled this on Friday but will be brewing #3 today. Each batch so far are giving good indications and very tasty but decided to try and reduce the cost of each batch, also want to make a more sessionable version with lower abv, hopefully without sacrificing too much. Trying cheaper hops this...

+1 on the open spigot, although mine was made worse by double checking and thinking "only an idiot would do that" I ferment in my room which sits at a steady 18c, I didn't want to move the FV and disturb the yeast, my room is carpeted. Bugger! I love wet and dry hoovers :-) I are a idiot!

Not re-hydrating works but for me it gives me six extra hours of worrying if my brew will be ok. I'm newbie enough to worry about just about all of my processes. When I take all of the effort to make a brew and the cost to buy new yeast each time, again to cut out newb errors, I will re-hydrate...
