Hello everyone
I want to make some ice tea since I have all needed equipment to boil - chill - cold crash and carbonate it
Have anyone try it?
Any recipe?

i just boil the required bags for 1 minute, add sugar if needed, let that set for 15 minutes, fill a gallon pitcher half with ice, add the tea and bags directly on it, stir and refridg, the.longer it sits the stronger it gets, i usually drink it before it gets old

When it gets warm in the south: Sun Tea. Put a crap load of bags in some water, and stick it in the hottest place in the yard in the middle of the summer.
Then, put it in the refrigerator and drink it like it is supposed to be...cold LOL.

I just make very strong tea and add lemon juice.
Sometimes I carbonate, sometimes I add some sugar

I guess not too many Europeans on here as I thought for sure I was going to take some shit about my redneck iced tea LOL. (Except, I don't use sugar in it, so I guess it isn't truly redneck).

We used to make sun tea as well. Cold brew tea bags are nice and easy

Anyone have try to carbonate?
Improving the taste or not?
I boil today at home just a few liters im waiting to cool but it taste good already

To be honest, I’ve never heard of anybody carbonating it

If you are going to carbonate it, get a Scoby and do some Kombucha.

@Zambi says she carbs occasionally.
Is it any good that way?

Yep.
I carbonate ice tea every now and again and I like it.
I use a 1 litre pet bottle with one of those carbonating tops

I'm European...
But maybe I've been somewhat africanised...

Look up "sparkling tea"... although I grew up on and prefer sun tea :)
