I plan on brewing a batch of Oddside Citrus PA next weekend using Denny's Favorite. I would like to harvest the yeast when it's time however I will be dry hopping with over an ounce of citra. Will this affect my yeast harvesting? Would I need to "wash" the yeast prior to using again?

If you run new wort directly onto the yeast cake, no, as long as the cake is pretty clean.

I bottle directly from primary. I then swirl the yeast cake and transfer to a sanitized mason jar until ready to make a starter. Having hop debris sitting on the harvested yeast will not affect future batches?
If the yeast cake is not clean, then what would be the best process?

it can but there is so much yeast there I wouldn't worry about it, Ive always had good luck with just cleaning the primary bucket sides real well then sanitize and poor my next beer right on top

Recently I have been using this technique.

When I was washing / reusing slurry I was always worried about contamination or too much trub or hop residue.
This method keeps my mind at ease and gives me virtually clean yeast for my next batch.

just made 3 jars by using one dry packet yesterday like the above link
