Assumed 80% of the grain absorption that I normally do when calculating sparge water (reflected in the recipe). E.g.:
9.5 lbs * 0.34 + 0.9 ~ 4 gal
6.5 gal (target) - 4gal + (0.95 * 0.8) = <sparge volume> |
