Notes

1.051 SG pre boil without sugar addition.
1.066 SG pre boil with sugar addition.
1.079 OG after topping up with 1 gallon of water post boil to make 11.6 gal. Chilled to 66 F. Oxygenated for 120 seconds with bottled O2. Split batch and ferment one with Safale US-05.

My version was terrible - really hot/phenolic like poorly made homebrew. Scott and Betty&#039;s version was definitely better.
