After chilling to 21oC - left to settle for 30 mins....this worked really well as trub/protein settled nicely to the bottom.
Used the right-angle outlet for the first time and it really helped in not sucking the lprotens/debris into the fermenter. Left 5 litres of trub in the bottom of the kettle so as not to disturb the trub and protein. |

no bubbles noticeable and terminal gravity hit. 1 litre of trub dumped from the fermenter before removing from Fermentarium and attached to glycol chiller |

Fermenter connected to glycol chiller set at 0.0oC - will leave the beer for 48 hrs (after 24 hours the fermenter temperature is stable at 3.0oC). |

2x full Cornies packaged with 5ml of harris beer brite finings added to each keg. 48 hrs on the glycol chiller at 0oC brought the fermenter down to 3oC for approx 36-hrs. 2 more litres of trub dumped before transfer to keg under CO2.
Kegs left to charge in brewshed for 24-hours while still very cold. Will transfer to fermentarium at 22oC for 48hours before returning the keezer to try and drop out protein haze more |
