Notes

Found some hops growing wild near allotments at Warriston
Spoke to punter & they are actually Hallertau planted by him years ago & now growing wild
Not much aroma or resin - possibly still too green despite late October

First tasting 21/12/2020

  • under carbonated due to issue with cask seal
  • forced to use co2
  • as expected, little hop in flavour or aroma
  • sweetness profound but not unpleasant
  • will recarbonate in new cask & dry hop
