Notes

V2 - added c20 to bring out more orange. Dropped 4 day dry hop to only 1 ounce each vs 1.5. Will keg hop with .5 of each.

v2 OG 1070

Original recipe from Weldworks. Took their 'extra juicy bits' wording of doubling everything to heart and bumped the hop bill. Wanted more of a thicker and sweeter beer, and doubled the wheat bill and tripled the oat bill, while adding in a pound of lactose.

Made a yeast starter 24 hours ahead of time. 164 grams of DME in 1.5L should yield about 350 billion cells.

Mash 6.35
Sparge 2.55

Lactose mixed in a flame out.

OG: 1.071
FG: 1.020
ABV 7.2%

4/27 - 68 degrees
4/29 - 68 degrees - Bio transform hops
5/2 - Dumped a pint of trub
5/3 - 72 degrees
5/5 - 50 degrees - trub dump - 2nd Dry Hop
5/8 - cold crash
5/10 Keg
