Notes

Manual water volume calc: (Grain weight in kg x 2.7) + 3.5 = volume of mash water to add to boiler = 17.5L
(required pre-boil volume - mash water volume) + (grain bill kg x 0.8) = sparge water volume = 9.5L

20/07/2018
Actual 18L Mash + 12L Sparge for 25L Pre-boil (SG: 1.05 - GF 79%eff)
Boiled for 60mins for approx 21L (plus trub) Post-boil (OG: 1.060),
20L into FV (30L water used, 5L lost from pre-boil to FV) - so up everything by 10% next time

03/08/2018 Brix: 8 / FG: 1.033 (uncorrected) - Corrects to 3.45 / 1.013. Uncarbed beer tastes v sweet. Mash lower?
