I will be adding 4.5 grams of Calcium chloride to the water. For pH I will be shooting for 5.3 and adjust accordingly with phosphoric acid.
Basil and lemon added as follows. 3 oz basil and zest of 2 lemons added at the end of the boil just before hop additions. 3 oz basil and zest of 2 lemons added to keg. Make a super concentrated "tea" by boiling one cup of water. Slap the basil, add to water with the lemon and steep for 15 minutes, then add to keg before racking. |
