Budweiser Clone Recipe

  1. Crush grains and set aside. Bring 3.25 gallons water to 164 degrees. Remove from heat. Add grain bag to pot. Slowly add crushed malt barely, carapils, and rice into the grain bag. Avoid clumping. Steep for 60 minutes. After 60 minutes remove grain bag and allow to drain. Do not squeeze
  2. Bring wort to a rolling boil, do not over boil.
  3. Add hops bag and boil for 55 minutes
  4. At 50 minutes add honey
  5. At 55 min add aroma hops and boil for additional 5 minutes.
  6. Cool wort to 70*
  7. Pour off wort into fermentation vessel, avoiding heavy sediment
  8. Add additional water if necessary. 2.5 gallons is the goal
  9. Add yeast to wort and stir in.
  10. Allow to ferment at 64 to 70 for two weeks.
