Notes

Even though mash / pre-boil was 14 brix at 7.5 gallons, the wort after boil was also 14 brix with 7 gallons reading on the graduated marks on the kettle.

I added 0.8 lbs cane sugar into the fermentor then drained the wort into the fermentor (wort was about 150F).

OG brix reading before pitching yeast was 15 or 1.061
FG 1.010
= ABV 6.8
