Notes

Born on 7/7/18. Add 12 oz. of chopped cherries (frozen with small amount of vodka mix) and 12 oz. 100% tart cherry juice plus 16 oz. of sweet cherry juice on 7/22/18. Place in refer at 40 degrees on 7/23/18. take out for rest on 7/26/18 for two days. Crash again on 7/28/18 and Keg on top of 2 oz. of Chocolate extract on 7/29/18.

Notes on 10/6/18: Very Dark Ruby Red. White/Faint Tan Head that settles and lasts at 1/8 inch. Very nice lacing. Nice aroma of faint smoke and roasted Malt. Begins slighty sweet and malty followed by an even slighter Chocolate taste and ending with a tart Cherry Flavor. Full bodied. Very pleasing. Alcohol is dangerously hidden and after 10 oz. you feel its affects. Served in a snifter on top of (3) liquor infused (marinated for 4 months) and pitted Michigan Cherries for an added treat!

Next Time: Try Chocolate Nibs and/or more Chocolate extract. I wonder if more Chocolate would enhance this already excellent recipe.
