Notes

Hit target of 152 degrees with 172 degree strike water. Used lactic acid to reduce ph to 5.4 in mash and same in sparge water. 60 minute mash with 20 minute recirculate while sparring. I found that keeps gravity constant throughout.Used London ale3 and coastal haze 3liter starter made 24 hours prior to brew day. Boiled 45 min and added 3oz of Sabro at 5 min, dropped temp to 180 degrees and added 4 ounces each of sabro and galaxy in whirlpool for 20 min. Dropped again and Same at 160 for 20 min but left them in while dropping to pitch temp. OSG 1.064. Dry hopped day 1 with 4 ounces each of galaxy and citra and again at day 3. 35 ounces of hops total. Gravity was 1.020 on day 3 and stayed at 1.014 for 2 days straight. Crashed using glycol chiller for 24 hours and Kegged on day 7, forced carbed at 30psi for 24 hours in fridge. The beer is delicious, hints of melon, stone fruit and pineapple. Has a perfect hop blend! And hazy color. 6.5% ABV and very easy drinking.
It gets better and better every day. This beer is one of my favorite NEIPA that we’ve ever brewed. It will be brewed again! And again! Cheers!!! homebrewbeer99@gmail.com
