Mosaic Hop Pellets (also known as HBS 369) came into the brewing world by storm in 2012 and has become a favorite of brewers around the globe. Mosaic hops are known for their complex aroma and flavors. Mosaic beer hops are often compared to Citra hops, as they have similar alpha content with a great oil profile. They are the "daughter" of Simcoe hops and male Nugget hops.

A 2011 release of this hop variety from New Zealand brings a low alpha acid aroma hop that imparts lemon, lime, citrus, and orange notes that complement Pale ales, IPA's, Sours and Wheat ales. They have a high oil content are often used as late boil additions and dry hop additions to highlight the strong flavor and aroma.
This is the go-to strain for New England-style IPAs. It produces a medium ester profile similar to WLP008 East Coast Ale Yeast. It leaves some residual sweetness, helping accentuate both malt and hop flavors and aromas, while retaining a velvety mouthfeel.
