I’m just a guy who loves beer and is new to home brewing... I have made 3 beers and 1 cider as of 21 June 2013. When the wife said I needed a hobby I started looking into home brewing. The folks got me a Mr. Beer a few years back and I’m hooked. I became more so since relocating to New Orleans from Seattle. I really missed the diversity and availability of microbrew that you have in the Northwest and want to have that in the South. What better way to have that than to begin at home and find others that are into the same thing?
I love everything from Belgian Strong Ales to Cider. I would love to hear from locals in the New Orleans area who brew and perhaps get to know them. I would also love to hear from anyone else with corrective criticism or what not. All input or general correspondences, be it good or bad, is welcomed. I want to become better and learn from other. How else can I not refine me art without my peers?
