As you can tell from my profile picture, I am a beer drinker with a running problem. I keep telling myself all this running doesn't mean I have a problem. :-)
With regards to brewing, I took a class on brewing through the local parks department where the local homebrew club demonstrated extract, BIAB and all-grain brewing simultaneously on Saturday morning in November of 2017. The following Friday I acquired a new HLT, built a MLT in a 48-quart Coleman cooler, and repurposed an unused turkey frier as my BK. Two friends joined in and we brewed an all-grain batch of Oatmeal Stout.
I am still using other people's recipes; I haven't contributed any recipies to the community...yet.
