Notes: I had this amazing treat while visiting Sunriver, OR in Jan. 2023. The amazing team at Sunriver Brewing does beer like nobody else in the nation:
They say on their website, "West Coast-style IPA is brewed with the finest hand-selected NW hops – delivering a resinous punch of grapefruit, pine, lemon, and a hint of dankness. Well-balanced and moderately bitter, this brew finishes crisp and dry."

Notes: You are actually pretty close.
As for malt, scrap the C40 and use more base malt.
As for hops, lean on Simcoe and FF for additions starting about halfway through the boil, then feather in some Citra in the WP. Use equal parts of Simcoe, FF and Mosaic in the dry hop. Aim for about 95 total calculated IBUs. |
