Here's my buddy visiting from Fairbanks Alaska adding hops to a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale brew a couple years ago; note snow shovel. We drove my 1965 Ranchero to F.H. Steinbart's in Portland in the snow for supplies.

Snow? Oh yeah, that white shit that falls from the sky once every 30 or 40 years. Lol

You two are mean! We get enough snow for both ou you.
I do remember it snowing in 1989. It was definitely visible, but it did not stick.
To be fair, they actually did get some freezing rain over on the coast a few years ago around Christmas.
Here, if it gets that cold, it is normally too dry to snow. There are maybe a handful or two in a really cold winter of nights when it actually does freeze.

We are supposed to get some snow the next couple of days

I won't be able to do this the next couple of days, but I knew I was going to be outside playing with the smoker tonight. It is after 11, and I am still comfortable in a pair of shorts, no shirt, and no shoes.
