Here's my buddy visiting from Fairbanks Alaska adding hops to a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale brew a couple years ago; note snow shovel. We drove my 1965 Ranchero to F.H. Steinbart's in Portland in the snow for supplies.

I had a 63 4 door with a 200ci straight 6, loved that car even though it was a bit of a bondo bucket...

I do remember it snowing in 1989. It was definitely visible, but it did not stick.
To be fair, they actually did get some freezing rain over on the coast a few years ago around Christmas.
Here, if it gets that cold, it is normally too dry to snow. There are maybe a handful or two in a really cold winter of nights when it actually does freeze.

Born & raised in Minnesota, lived in Alaska & Colorado. I know snow, and Oregon's is tame. But PLENTY of breweries & pubs!
