Hello friends, I have just a question. If we are composing a recipe and we use a ten minutes Whirpool Hop addition when we stop boiling, the time is "0" or "10min"? I mean whether the time expressed is boiling time or not. We have already expressed no chill and ten minutes extended time before chilling on the upper part of the editor.

    Thank you so much

A ten minute whirlpool is just that 10 minutes whirlpooling once kettle at whirlpool temp.

Most times i whirlpool at 80c for 20-30mins.

a short whirlpool time is used for coning the trub and hops, a longer one is for pulling more flavor out of the hops
