I have always been confused when reading brew directions when it comes to the "time" to add hops. When it says "10 mins" under the column of TIME does that mean to: add the hops "10 mins after the start of the boil" or "for 10 mins then pull out" or "10 mins before the end of the 60 min boil."? Like when videos say "ok we are going to add our 20 min addition of hops does that mean 20 mins into the boil or 20 mins before the boil is over? Asking for a friend of course haha

It is the time before the end of boil. Basically it says that you only want to boil that hop addition for X number of minutes.

Right. The time listed is the amount of time that hops are in boiling wort (you never remove them after a certain time, they stay in there).

So, when you add your first hops and you have have a schedule like this:
2 oz Citra 60 minutes
1 oz cascade 15 minutes
1 oz amarillo 5 minutes

1. When the wort starts to boil add the citra hops and set your timer for 60 minutes
2. When you have 15 minutes left on the timer, add your cascade hops
3. When there is 5 minutes left on the timer, add the amarillo hops.
4. When the timer hits 0, turn off the flame and begin chilling your wort.
