So I figure, with my keezer out of action for the near future, I needed to come up with a way to keep the lager yeast going, so I tweaked a Cali Common recipe I had previously worked on to fit the ingredients I have. This will be the next adventure for my lager yeast culture...never have done a Cali Common before, am I in the ballpark? I'll bottle condition and shoot for just under 3 vols.

I'll just throw in my opinion...if there's one ingredient that is a must for a California Common, it would be the use Northern Brewer hops. It is what defines the beer. The reason I say that is because Anchor Steam California Common is the most recognized beer in the style, and what most brewers shoot for when brewing a Cali Common.
