First pour of my PNW IPA. Maltier than expected, but there is good hop presence as well. I like the aroma, and clarity, too (this bottle was last to be filled, and ended up with some trub). This beer might benefit from a little more conditioning time, but it has potential.
Digging that brilliant white head there Herms....nobody does white like nature! Wifey and I are taste testing the partigyled batchs after 2 weeks of conditioning and I'm feeling the wonderful winter warmer effect of a couple of cellar temp higher gravity brews on a cold and rainy Sunday.
Aslin Brewing, Castle Hill - Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels and conditioned on coffee, blueberries, cacao nibs and coconut. 16.5%. Crazy delicious, but I’m starting to sweat.
Pilsner Light [4%] from June 2022. This matured quite quickly and has a very soft mouthfeel. It hasn't changed since I last opened one other than the carbonation was stronger so has some limitations if I was being picky which I aren't as it slid down wonderfully with my Indian night.
