Just taken the Citra and Cascade hops out of the FV. They were in there from high krausen for three days.
Thanks to some over-zealous cold water additions after the boil this is now a Session NEIPA:D.
Last dry hop of Endeavour and Citra for the last three days. Not yet though.

Yes, keykegs. The ultimate one-way packaging solution. They are very clever though; that's exactly how they work.

Got up early this morning to lift weights but decided to transfer my Kings Harvest IPA from cold crash to keg. Smell and taste (small sip) are right on target for me. My estimated FG was 1.015 and the actual was 1.012. Should be ready to drink by the weekend.

Weighed and crushed grain yesterday, will make a starter for my Fuller's clone today. So far, aside from the base malt, I've been able to make it with grains from the bankruptcy sale.

Preparing for brewing a Fig Saison tomorrow. Just cooked some figs with a bit of sugar and lemon juice. We have a massive fig tree, so what the heck?

He nothing wrong with opposition competitor keeping the price in check.

That's what I get here on coast lhbs selling $6/kg malt across the board. Ill ask who's the Malster ah Joe White bloody he'll I can get it for 2.75/KG online bloody rip off.

Atleast down the road in Clown Town I can get Gladfield by the KG for $4.5

Competition is king for the consumer eh;)?

The setup is a one-way valve on the out side somewhere and a couple of psi going onto the top of the beer which, I guess, replaces the beer dispensed so the keg doesn't imlplode and extends the shelf life beyond the usual few days. Really quite clever.

The CAMRA bods would have a coronary if they saw it but I would be surprised if many of them had much of a clue about beer and dispense anyway.

As an aside, I've always believed that Wetherspoons do something like this although I have zero evidence for thinking that. Anyone ever seen the inside of a 'Spoons cellar?

The struggle is real today, setting up to bottle Dirty Bohemian, after sanitizing EVERY empty crown cap bottle in the house...I'm short...near as I can figure I need to "empty" about 3-4 before I get started. use every twist off bottle in the house and replace the washers in my 2 flip top bottles and I MIGHT just make it.

I just bottled my Belgian style witbier, and will let it condition for a couple weeks. Now it’s time to make pizza dough.
