Tasted the Amber. It’s rather dry. WTF. Looked at the info I used to build the recipe. Bingo. I had 14 oz of C-60 and should have been 24 oz.

I hear that. It’s why I don’t partake during a brew session. This fubar happened while building the recipe in BS3. I think I put in 14 oz of C-60 with plans to make up the difference with C-40. But the latter addition never got included.

Thanks. Hope so. The only reason I made this beer is for a competition. I only have two weeks to let it condition before bottling and submission. I briefly considered back sweetening with a little brown sugar. But instead I’m just going to call it “Dry Fly Amber” and run with it.:)

Transferred Raspberry Blonde Ale to Keg after cold crash and force carbonating at 35 psi for 24 hours.

Notice the Tilt Hydrometer is fairly covered with yeast. The final gravity with the Tilt was 1.003 whereas the old fashioned Hydrometer reading apparatus read 1.007.

Judging for the Arapahoe County Fair competition. Great way to get to know beer, both good and bad.

Came with my original brewing starter kit from NB almost 11 years ago. Been used for sanitizing for at least 7 of those years.

I have that issue sometimes when the pic doesn't meet the size requirements. It just never loads.

They changed the file size requirement a while back (6 months?) and ever since I upload directly from the Camera Roll (iPhone) with no problems with file size at all.
