Tilt integration is now ready on our beta site. https://beta.brewersfriend.com.

Start by creating a brew session. Click the green Brew icon on the recipe.

Under the fermentation tab, toggle on the Tilt and choose the color of your Tilt.

Copy the Cloud URL and paste this in the Cloud URL input on the Tilt app.

The graph will refresh every 60 seconds. The refresh rate may become an option.

I'll be adding the CloudURL to my python script on my PI that's doing all the monitoring, as soon as I get home. Should work the same as the Tilt App's function.

    Thanks for this!

Starting a kettle sour today, so the tilt will start logging sometime this weekend. Will let you know how it goes.

    Looks like it worked:
    upload_2018-10-17_18-21-22.png

It captured the data. Quick note - I can't see where to adjust the OG - my brew log has a brew day complete entry with 1.060.

    Again, thanks for this!

I put a recipe in, followed the instructions and there is no fermentation tab, am I missing something?

Well, then you're doing it right. As far as the premium vs non-premium, I have no idea. Perhaps that's it. fwiw - it's a couple bucks a month and totally worth it in my opinion. :) Happy Brewing!

Worked like a charm. Set up a Tilt PI, added the BF Cloud URL, and then added my google sheets to the Tilt settings page, and it's going to all 3. Very cool!

It's been about 30 minutes while our strike water heats up and I'm not seeing any logging in the brewer's friend fermentation tab. It does seem to be sending it to the google sheet though, which I guess it shouldn't if it's sending it to the brewersfriend URL. Screenshot 2018-10-19 at 4.09.59 PM.png

What are you using to push the data?

It’s a Pi 3 with TiltPi on it.

I found the set up a little confusing. I was using my email address *and* the BF cloud url, and it was going to my google sheet. After I removed my email, and pasted the BF cloud url in again, it started working as expected. Maybe try that?

Brewed, set up per instructions. It doesn't seem to be updating. I was able to send a couple of test comments, but now it won't even do that. Everything looks right at the Tilt end, it is updating the iPhone app about every second. Any suggestions would be welcomed :) Screen Shot 2018-10-21 at 7.47.19 PM.png Screen Shot 2018-10-21 at 7.49.27 PM.png

I couldn't get logging to work the first try with a blue tilt. I had a cider already fermenting, but no corresponding brew session. I created a generic session on beta, plugged the link into tilt app on my wife's phone (I hate android but no tilt support for W10 or WP10). Left the phone on the fermenter for about 20 minutes and it never got past the "wait 5 mins" message.

I'll try again with a full brew once I can somehow get a dedicated brewpi rigged. Borrowing her phone a couple times a day is not conducive to effective logging.

I don't know if this is useful to the folks coding this feature, but here are a couple more screen shots from this morning . As you can see, the only time the graph/data is updated is when I send a test comment via the iPhone app. The automated data logging does not appear to be working. I look forward to some insight into this problem and it's solution. Thanks!

That is why the tab is not there- can you send me your email address (the one you signed up on Brewer's Friend with) via a private message, and I can upgrade your membership for a month while we test? I'm sorry for the delay on that- I didn't realize that a trial membership wouldn't do for this test.

I had the same thing for the logging, it would only log when i hit comment. So a restart and randomly changing settings, but ending up with the original settings. Walked away and an hour later it had been logging for nearly an hour.

No idea what combination of changes forced the state to reset to the point where it started logging correctly.

    Mine's a tiltpi 2.1 setup.
