I made a Belgian yesterday, about as high of a gravity of anything I make. I think I scored a 77 on the grav-o-meter. This morning when I woke up, I had 1 1/2 to 2" of Krausen in my little 6 gallon carboy. I probably have 5 1/2 gallons in there, so I moved the carboy to the floor and put a blowoff tube on it. The krausen fell when I did that, totally disappeared. It was burping. Tonight when I got home, it was burping away quite happily. There is no krausen. I'm sure the beer is fine. I've never seen this before. Has anyone here ever seen that?
