smells good

    Just racked my first brew today. The trub smelt very good, yeasty but expected, is this an indicator of a good brew or am I just projecting?

    Well, it didn't smell like feet - that would be bad.... :) It's an indicator that nothing terrible is going wrong, at least, and likely a sign you will be getting a good brew out of it.
