RO Systems

I've been contemplating on getting a RO system for brewing water only. I brew 2 times a month so that would be the only time I would use the RO system.

The only change is the 2nd stage filter will be replaced with a 1 micron filter.

Few questions:
Will the filters be harmed in any way if water just sits for two weeks?

Will mold begin to grow on the filters?

This unit will initially be mounted in my garage where temps during the summer can get to 100+. Will these temps promote mold growth?

I'm currently in the process of putting in an RO system and when watching a video on how to do it, they suggested flushing the system weekly, if it's not used often, so the water doesn't go stagnant.

All I've herd about them is,it takes some time to get your brewing volume out of them.
