Problem with "Recipe tool's"

I have reported this in the beta test via the "Beta reporting button" but notice it has still not been fixed. while in the Edit recipe mode you can not use the recipe tool's i.e Scale, copy etc. when you put the cursor on the recipe tool's tab the drop down window opens but then disappears when you try to use one of them.

I'm on Chrome and all tools [both view and edit mode] seem to be in working order on my end
