It was not good, but it wasn't that bad either. Approx 40, 000 euros in damage to the kiln/building, which is very unfortunate but not a disaster. My friend's tour was yesterday before the fire, which really is weird. We were there about 2 weeks ago. It's not their first fire (but it would be good if it was their last!).
When you're heating grain to near its flash point, accidents can happen. I just hope no one was hurt. I'm sure it's not their first.
