Has anyone have any info on brewing a beer in the Liebotschaner style? Genesee Brewery made a Liebotschaner style beer back at the turn of the century and I live near Rochester NY, where Genesee is brewed, and would be interested in brewing some if I can figure out what would go into the recipe. Any help would be appreciated!

Couldn't find a recipe.... It's apparently a cream ale and "Lion was also nice enough to include the 5% ABV, 12.5 O.G and even 14 IBU descriptors as well."

Apparently the revival is so new no one has successfully cloned it. Looks like you have a challenge on your hands! Start with a good cream ale and tweak until satisfied (or bored with it....)

    Cheers!

Genesee does brew a cream ale. I had one last year and was not overly impressed, but it could be a starting point.
