Hi there, how you doing?
I'm Pete and yes, I'm a newb. There I said it. I am in fact a relativity new home brewer. Over the last nine months I have progressed from buying that brew your own 1 gallon kit and DME to all grain 1 gallon batches. At some point in the last 4 months, I finally decided that it was time to go all in and start to do the 5 gallon batches.
I have been bitten by the home brew bug and I'm indeed "all in". In the short time I have been involved I have learned that there is so much that I don't know about beer. But that's O.K. The whole reason for doing this was to challenge myself.
I'm looking forward to the journey of becoming a subject matter expert, or at the very least an enthusiastic well informed amateur ale nerd. In the meantime, I hope to share what I learn with you and learn from the community here to become a better brewer and share that with friends.
With warm regards to all.
Pete
