My fermentation refrigerator crapped out on me and I lost all the yeast I was farming that includes approximately 15 half court mason jars of 34/70 which started out from the original strain sent to me from the hefe bank in Munich Germany.

Oh well I'll be ordering more this week and starting over.

At least it's not a rare strain, but still sucks. One reason I have a mini fridge just for yeast. The fermentation fridge gets a lot of strain from changing the temp. setting often. Yeast fridge has been sitting at 40 F since day one. Only gets opened maybe twice a month. Should last forever.

Ill order another pitre dish from the hefe bank and start farming again.

i bet you wont put all your yeast in one basket in future maybe slap one in the house fridge for safe keepings.
