Including photo

OK, dumb question of the day.
How do you add a photo to a post when using a cell phone? (Android)
On a computer I just cut and paste but I do not seem to be able to do that with the phone , only include as a file attachment.

There's a button to make it a thumbnail or full image, click full image

In messages where someone refers to another member, it comes out as @west1m
Which takes you to their profile pic stuff.
What is copied or used?

If you add the @ and pick from the pop-up list, it becomes a hot link to their profile AND notifies the user there is a post where they are mentioned. If you do not add the @, it is just plain text.

Ok so you have to add the @ . Then enter the name...

Kinda sorta. If I type west1m nothing happens, but if I type @west (just that) this list pops up (see below) and I can pick your name off there. Or it can be typed in but if there's a typo (for example, there is no user named "west" here) the link is not active.
