IBUs stuck at zero ?

I'm pretty sure 8oz of Centennial boiled for 60 minutes should have a non-zero IBU
 
You're probably right. Do you have a link to the recipe so that we can take a look?

Eh. I only tried 8oz to try to get the IBU to lift off of 0.0, not really going to put that much in ;)
 
Welp, I do not see the connection, but I figured it out.
Selecting a late addition of the fermentables, no matter how long you boil any quantity of hops, means the IBU is equal to zero. This strikes me as a bug.

Just 1gm of sugar which is not a late addition, and it calculates a perfectly rational IBU !

Ah interesting.

I think the issue here is the IBU calculation is taking into account the preboil gravity, and since there's no fermentables at preboil there's no gravity and may be breaking at some point and just falling back to 0.

Opening an issue ticket to keep track of it and take a look next time we're working in the hop calculations code.
