Did not see this in the FAQ, so if I missed it, please bump it.

I'm having an issue adding a "Friends" profile. His profile is public, but when I search the name it comes back with nothing. I can find his recipes, but no where that I can click "follow" like the instructions say.

*Please note we both have trial accounts, so this may be the reason, but found nothing that suggest that.

Any help is appreciated.

you have to be a member to do most things
The small yearly fee is well worth it...saving recipes alone is a huge benefit. Not to mention inventory, brewing reports, etc that make it easy to keep track of things over a span of time.

Ok, thanks!

Already liking a lot of the things that are offered. And for the cost, you can't beat it.

I guess a membership is in order!

Thanks!

There's a friends list?

so here's what you do, first you need to make your profile public https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/profile then search for a member, then find a person either through the recipes or from the member search, since the member search is just a google link "Google has to cache your profile before member search works" and that takes time, once you find someone like me https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/brewer/5889/ozarks-mountain-brew you click the follow button, then it shows up on your my brewing drop down/ my friends https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/myfriends, all that shows is the stats and a link to their profile, nothing else, I hope this helps

I usually add friends at the end of the boil, but sometimes will dry friend for a few days before bottling.
