Hop absorption rate

I have the hop absorption rate set to 0.15 quarts per oz in my equipment profile and have 61grams (approx 2oz) of hops in the recipe, but the water requirements are calculating the loss at 8.5 litres and this is massively affecting water volumes.

I don’t know if I have something wrong or whether there’s a glitch in the calculations.

Thanks for reaching out, there is a glitch in the system when the users general units don't match the recipe units. We have a ticket to correct this as soon as we can.

from US to Metric, and adjust the equipment values as well https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/profile/equipment.
