Hello from Portland, OR!

I've been using the tools on this site for a couple years and I was excited to see that you could become a member!

I brew lots of different beers that I try to fit with the season. I started off in Colorado (where I grew up) brewing extract kits and progressively moved to an all grain set up which I use a couple times a month in my apt. in Portland.

I absolutely love brewing, there is nothing like pouring a glass of fresh beer that you made. I look forward to talking beer with you all.

I've been wanting to visit Bend for a while. I've heard the beer is amazing down there!

Like Portland but on a smaller scale. I heard we are up to 24 breweries in CO now. I remember when the first one opened (Deschutes 1988). I think there were a few kraft breweries in pdx at that time. Now there are about 75.
