I'm pretty excited to be starting on this new hobby. My girlfriend got me a Mr Beer kit from the thrift store that had an American Light syrup pack in it (meh). I went ahead and made that one. It's now bottled and carbonating. I decided to jump right into it after that and went to my LHBS and bought all the stuff for a Belgian Dubbel I found online. After much arduous research, I was ready. Thus far it looks like it's doing great, but time will tell! Thanks for all the great resources!
