Hey folks, where can I find a list of substitutes for DME or KME? I see a lot of recipes that I would like to try but I would prefer to do all grain. What I am looking for is a list of what grain or grains and how much of them is the substitute equivalent of a dry or liquid malt extract. Is there such a thing?

Thanks J A and wow..lotta math there for what I wanted but useful after I get some more batches under my belt. I was looking for an all grain for the Dark Mild Session in the Tailgating Blog entry on the site here which had a DME component in the all grain recipe in the post. Attempting to be a purest, I wanted not to use extract and thanks for another recipe I found on the site and thanks to Yooper, I found an ALL all grain recipe!

Yeah, there's a simpler chart somewhere that I've personally used but that's the first source that came up in a quick search. Searching on the recipes with the all-grain method filter in place will usually yield just about anything you want.
