Getting to high of a efficiency

Brewed today and hit 93% efficiency, it's nice to get this but my gravity was supposed to be 1.053 but was up at 1.062. Not sure what I should be doing to change this......larger boil size?

some people would say whohoo but in reality all you do is add water to fix this

I'm pretty happy about this, I have been getting an average of 90%.
So should I add more water to my total mash water that I need, my boil size is 7.5 gallons/28 liters

no not to the mash to the final boil then mix if its at that gravity

Because I no chill so am stuck with a defined after boil volume , I can dilute into FV to hit my target OG but am also diluting the bitterness so generally just accept it'll be slightly more boozy than expected

Holly heck ! Thats smashing efficiency mate. Whats your mash schedule like? Losses must be heaps reduced eh? Crush size fine?

one thing to consider, mash efficiency and brew house efficiency are two separate measurements
